After reading the great reviews online we decided to go to LouCa's. We really enjoyed our night out. We ordered the fried zucchini, oysters, lamb chops, branzino, chicken parm, chicken Milanese, coconut cream pie, icecream pie and chocolate mousse cheesecake. Every dish was well presented and so delicious! The service was top notch as well. We had a very accomplished server, as well as a waiter in training. We asked the waiter in training if it was his first day and he informed us that we were his second table. He did extremely well reciting the daily specials; which happened to be a very long list. He was very fortunate to be training with the female server; with her as his mentor he will do great. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, super sweet and accommodating. It's always an added bonus when you have a great server! I would highly recommend LouCa's!
Food was very good. Portions are large. Always love the lump crab cakes. Our server, Jose, was very attentive and friendly. Always enjoy coming to Loucas! Only negative was the dining room was very warm so it was a little uncomfortable towards the end of the meal.
We were able to be seated early for our reservation. We had a great table in a quiet corner. Our server was fantastic and his recommendations were spot on! They even spruced up our dessert for our anniversary! A five star experience!
Always a good time at Loucas. I've been there 3 times in 3 weeks and enjoyed every bite! Lovely servers and yummy food. Just wish they'd bring back soft shell crabs , my fave, before seasons over. Sometimes noise levels too much for good conversation, my only complaint!
I have been here quite a few times with my family. The last time we were here we decided it would be our last but we ended up going again for Father's Day. Again not good. Very noisy hard to converse at our table. Brought 2 bottles of wine had to remind waiter we needed an ice bucket for the piano Grigio. He also never refilled our glasses for wine or waterThey don't print out the specials so the waiter recites and you have to strain to hear. I ordered the halibut special with lobster risotto. Did not know the price until I got the bill. $44 and the lobster pieces were awful and smelled fishy. I'm so sorry I didn't mention it to the waiter. Luckily I didn't get sick. My husband said his lobster ravioli had way too much sauce and not enough lobster to even taste it. My daughter was happy with her steak. Both of our veggies were very good. Dessert was ok very chocolatey cake and coconut pie. Again don't think we'll be back
