I had the haggis court, it was delicious! the heavy was probably the best I ever had. we also had the fish and chips, also very good. as they can see, the fish is a very good size. they also have a large selection of local beers. I would recommend this place to everyone!
The staff is always friendly and helpful. Eating is always nice. 5 minutes to walk from the Edinburgh House. that makes it perfect for us. we had appetizers of broccoli stilton suppe and brushed mushrooms. the suppe came with 3 large slices sourded brot and was really nice. the mushrooms were 3 massive pieces, over the length of my hand, served with a beautiful Mayo dip and had a tomato salad. the mushrooms were crispy and damp and were really nice. the most important of tequila mocking dog and fish and chips. the dog was great, but wasn't in the ass as claimed, but was nice together with the fries. the fish was as always very large. beautiful crispy teig and flock fish were excellent. the chips were nice. had a part of the two rings, which were as usual very large and crisp. we look forward to our next visit.
Immersed, unplanned, as the children burger and this place was close, and had good reviews. we were happy. chips were the upper kerbe. and the two carnivores enjoyed their drawn black and chicken burgers. as vegetarian my moo free burger was considerable and tasty. would have been super helpful if the menu said what vegetarian it looked like some options in the whole menu were possibly veggie, but it did not say, and there were only two options in the actual meat-free section. would be great if it could be marked on the menu. it is a slight change that would help a lot if they don't want to damp one. all in all but a delicious and pleasant experience. not on the list to go back but beautiful.
Located directly opposite the new st james center, this restaurant is one of the best I was in edinburgh. extensive menu with last to choose from fajitas to classic fish n chips to hot dogs. the dessert menu was short and sweet. also a good selection of Christmas drinks and eating that was a pleasant surprise. I never had a drink menu with so much to choose, especially beer, gins and cocktails. the environment at the place was lively, but not excessively so and we received a fast and wonderful recipe from the cold. they have to come here and we will definitely come back!
Had a nice lunch at The Newsroom! We all split some appetizers and had some nice alcoholic beverages. It is in a very ideal location, close to everything! Definitely a good place to stop by after a day of walking around and needing a break.
