Unfortunately they don't make the rice anymore, possibly due to the pandemic, and the entrées were average. The soup they give you as an appetizer was phenomenal and so was the fresh lemonade served in mini pitchers. We each had 3 servings of the lemonade.
Some of the food here is pretty good, but I can 't help but feel that everytime I go, something is always off with either the food, or the service. I 've had a good meal or two and it 's not a break the bank joint, but if this restaurant focused more on a particular type of food instead of trying a little bit of everything, it could be a much better place. I 'll keep going here and there because it 's a decent close choice to eat where the rest of the local restaurants are all fast food, I just hope the place focuses on improving!
Second time here and it 's still the worst service out of all the Edinburg Restaurants! Oh but no shame in adding an 18 percent gratuity... We sat for more than an hour before our food came and our waitress said they had ran out of regular coffee but another waitress said, oh she is new, she doesn 't know! . We had seen her there the previous time which was last year. No discount, No apologies for their horrible service! We will never come here again. Don 't waste your hard earned money eating here!
Wow! The chilaquiles plate with chicken was excellent! I added the red salsa, and both the chips and salsa were spot on. The service was great and very attentive. We’re looking forward to visiting this restaurant again soon!
Delicious food, generous portions, attentive service, live music, ice-cold beer straight from the bar, and a warm, inviting atmosphere—what more could you ask for?
