First thing you notice is the French fries, they are fresh, crisp, and perfect. The Mac n Cheese bites followed suit in the same crisp perfect fashion. Then I got to my Bourbon Siracha burger and the deal was sealed.. Hands down best burger I've had in Eau Claire. We also really enjoyed the service and car hop service. We will e back frequently.
Unique lunch place. While it looks like a garage on the outside, the inside is open and airy. Food is delicious and service is quick and friendly. Highly recommend stopping by.
Food is really good, service is great and can't beat the atmosphere if you like cars. It's a smaller venue, but that just adds to the coziness. Really cool thing is that they host the Cars and Coffee events over the summer months held the second Saturday of the month. They have a classic car on display inside the restaurant. That vehicle gets changed out at different times so, you get treated to different piece of car history each time.
I was very impressed with this restaurant. The decor is truly exceptional; they've done a fantastic job sourcing authentic pieces in excellent condition to create a beautiful 50s atmosphere. Now, let’s talk about the food. All six family members loved their dishes. The chicken fingers were handmade, crisp, and juicy. The grilled cheese was bursting with flavor and made on thick slices of bread. My son had the pub-style burger on a pretzel bun, and it was fantastic. I ordered the classic speckkäse, which came with all the veggie accompaniments. It was juicy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also shared a malt, which was equally delicious. I’m not used to finding such excellent food in smaller towns, but this place truly stands out.
