Thumbs Up Diner - East Point

Unbelievable breakfast and waiting. I had the Low Country Heap with the potatoes. So garlicky good! Biscuits were a bit disappointed. Too hard.

The service here is AMAZING! The sweet tea is slightly different, but very tasty. The salmon and cream cheese with eggs is just dying. I love eating the southwest combination is simply absolutely delicious. The warm tortilla is the perfect vessel for black beans, eggs and pico de gallo, Cheddar cheese and sour cream. My mouth drips before I even get into the door. Prices are not cheap, but they are very affordable. I also tried the waffles here, they're thick, but fluffy. I love adding powder sugar, you hardly need a syrup with these waffles. I'd suggest the chicken and waffles. Thumbs up makes definitely a great favorite game on the traditional southern fare. If you're looking for a wonderful treat, I'd suggest the salmon and cream cheese eggs. It is delicate, smooth and just down really delicious. The food here is served with lots of love and lots of butter. Everything I've eaten from here is surprisingly great!

Recommend this place. I was looking for a place near the airport. Very busy when you're late at 9:00. Killer Skilled meal with eggs, fries, paprika, cheese. Excellent coffee and fresh cookies! Ready! Sold! Go!

Cops like it? Must be quality.. After a long morning of driving around the city center, trying to find a place for breakfast at 9 a.m. on Sunday (end 4 weekend), I finally stumbled on Thumbs Up Diner and knew that this would be good when I saw 10 policemen walking women into their cabin cars. Fortunately, we managed to avoid the parking space that was in full swing when we left, but don't think of this place as a white tablecloth facility. Diner atmosphere with modern twist, there is a limited waiting area, but my buddy and I just grabbed places on the counter. The grilled Veggie Bagel offered a nice, light option and the extra 2 ounces of cold smoke salmon I ordered hit the place. Full wheat cookies are a must, but not from this world. Follow the house rules, bring cash and go home happy. I would like to try this place for something other than breakfast, but due to the limited possibilities during this time of day I would say that this would be a standby for Sunday breakfast in the center of Atlanta.

Great breakfast!. Breakfast at this place is no joke. The breakfast biscuits are so full of ingredients that they are a meal in themselves. Don't sleep on the breakfast!
