Favela Aroma - East Hartford

This is our first time eating at Favela Aroma. As we walked in this afternoon for dinner, we were greeted by the nice ,friendly owner. We were happy to see the big selection of food especially the Bbq meats ! Dishes are weighed and you are charged by the weight of food on the plate. We tried the yellow rice, fried yucca, beans, chicken wings, grilled beef and pork ribs. We were pleased with our dinners. The food was delicious and very filling. There is a nice selection of desserts of cakes and flan as well as soft drinks as well . The restaurant is very clean and spacious. You should definitely come here for delicious Brazilian food and the welcoming atmosphere.

People I found a gem. If you like barbecue gotta go here 100%. Walk in here and check it out you'll see meat on the rotisseries that will make your mouth water. The flavor is unbelievable. Plenty of tables. Plenty of parking in the back also.

I found out about this place on Facebook and hubby and I were not disappointed! The food was amazing! I have no idea where the rest of my pictures went, so I can only post the couple that I have. The steak, pork and lamb were so extremely flavorful and tender! I forgot his name but assuming he was the owner, he gave us some other meats to try and omg, they were truly amazing. The one qualm I have is that the food is weighed which of course jacks the price right up, but these days eating out has been super expensive in general. Please don’t hesitate to visit Favela, you won’t be disappointed! We got two meals, two canned sodas, flan and the corn pudding which I forgot the name of and we spent just over $80. We can’t go often, but we definitely be back!

Great food, very nice and kind people, fast service and beautifully decorated. Excellent restaurant overall!!!
