Hi Sushi Japanese Restaurant

The woman behind the counter who takes the money and does the cooking is like an Alsatian dog snapping at you as soon as you walk in the door. As you would expect from a sushi restaurant half the menu is sushi. But anything you order she will say we don't have. Only have the trays in the window made this morning. Also bento boxes but most have sushi which I did not dare ask. And ramen might be OK

I'm talking about the outlet on Level 1 in the food court, not the ground floor outlet. For a quick and tasty take away dinner for less than $10, we had a dinner box of chicken teriyaki and hokkien noodles, and chicken teriyaki with fried rice. The next night I returned and bought a box of fried rice and a box of the chicken/noodles very happy with both dinner choices and the price.

I will NOT be returning to Hi Sushi Leopold. The staff were absolutely appalling after rolling their eyes at myself and my friends for politely asking for more time to look over the menu. Much to their disgust we then ordered and our food was virtually thrown at us. Disgraceful customer service and extremely average food quality.

They have the best teriyaki salmon don! Friendly staff and the food never takes long to come out. Also highly recommend the pan fried beef dumplings.

Takeaway easy from the Malop St sidewalk window of Hi Sushi. Grabbed ricey rolls to go: crispy chick, terayaki beef and avocado. All fresh and tasty.
