Aliano is one of our favorite restaurants! My partner and I stumbled upon it on New Year's Eve and decided to return for my partner's birthday in July. When you visit, you are treated like family. We visited once in January and they remembered us! I love that personal touch. The food is life-changing! The grilled calamari with lemon butter sauce and bruschetta is a perfect starter. This time, we shared the Antipasto Charcuterie Board and a 12-inch margarita pizza for our main courses. The antipasto board is worth the $15, with a variety of marinated olives, fresh honey, grilled vegetables, meats, and cheeses. The pizza is always a pleasant surprise, authentic and delicious. We enjoyed the margarita pizza with its crusty base and fresh tomato and basil topping. Portions are generous, enough to take home leftovers. For my partner's birthday, we chose hazelnut gelato and a giant slab of tiramisu, both made in-house. The tiramisu is a standout, worth coming back for. With a cup of Italian coffee, we sat on the terrace and savored our desserts. If you haven't been to Aliano, it's a must-visit. The service is friendly and attentive, the portions are generous, and the food is fantastic. Perfect for a date night or celebration, just make sure to make a reservation!

So, we started with calamari. Perfect blend of seasoning and breading... not too much breading, but what flavor. For dinner, we split gnocchi and scallops. Where to start. The gnocchi was like pillows of yumminess. The pesto was light and had such depth of flavor. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The flavors blended so well. My only complaint was that the squash with the scallops had a little too much butter or oil. My husband disagreed with me on that point. For dessert, we had peppermint sorbet and tiramisu. The tiramisu was so light... like air but full of flavor. Overall, I don't recall having better. We thought we'd be stuffed after all the food, but we weren't. We were full but not overly so. You could tell they use fresh and good ingredients. I can't wait to go back next week.
Outstanding! Ten out of ten! We decided to try this restaurant for dinner tonight, and it was our first visit. The atmosphere was charming, the food was fantastic, and the service was excellent! We chose to sit on the patio and Rachel provided fantastic care for us. We will definitely be returning!
