Azzara's - e Village

Cream of mushroom soup was amazing. The alfredo was very rich and creamy. Caprice was tasty.

Off the chain, great! I've never had a bad meal there, and I've been dining at Azzara's for at least 20 years. I always tell people who ask for a recommendation. I think it is thenumber 1 restaurant in Incline.Be sure to ask what flavor the homemade Gelato of the restaurant is for that night. And if you like the flavor, order at least one for the table. If you've traveled to Italy and had Gelato there, Azzara's is like a taste of Italy. Vegetarian options: All the pasta for which there are many choices, eggplant Parmigiano (outstanding), salads, especially the Ceasar, roasted veggies, but you have to ask for it to be cooked a little longer otherwise, it's al dente,very al dente. Their menu is online, so you can see what maybe I left out.

We had Azzaras pizza a couple years ago, it’s my boyfriend’s birthday weekend, and we remembered liking it. So we decided to make the drive there from Reno, the weather conditions were bad, so it took us an hour to get there. We saw we would be getting there a little before 8 o’clock. So we figured that would be an okay time to go, since that would be more than an hour before their google closing time.After our long drive, we got greeted by the Azzara employee with “welp we’re closed.”I responded, “we just drove an hour to get here ?”He replies in a sarcastic tone “you drove an hour.. to be here..?”..”well we don’t have enough business, ..you should have called.”My word vomit said “I’m sorry.” Which I shouldn’t have. They should have offered a pizza for takeout or something. But we got brushed off so it turned us off completely to even ask for that.And then he says in a monotoned un-heart felt “I’m sorry” and walks away.So we left to drive another hour back to our hotel in Reno.Worst customer service ever.
