Gatto's Italian Restaurant Bar

My mother passed away and Gatto’s was recommended for the funeral luncheon. I had never been there but trusted the funeral director and he took care of the reservation, all I had to do was show up and pay. It was the right choice. There were 40+ guests and we received excellent service. The food was plentiful delicious (salad, fresh bread, roast chicken, potatoes, roast beef gravy, and mostaccioli) and the price was a great value. When I saw they had tiramisu I had to add that to the order and it was FANTASTIC! I would highly recommend.

First time visiting this restaurant and it was a good dinner option with great atte tion to the customer!

Decent Italian restaurant. We were a party of four without reservations we were seated at a table next to the bar. We ordered the calamari to start, asked if they could give us 1/2 fried 1/2 grilled but they would not accommodate us. So we had to order full size of each at $16.00 ea. I had the gnocchi with vodka sauce $18.50, it was ok, but not great. They served us fresh bread/oil at the table for no extra cost which was a plus. Others in our group of 4 ordered the Chicken Pinoli $20.95 said it was “ok” but didn’t finish it. The other dish ordered was the Mussels with Fettuccine $21.00. Mussels were a bit tough. Bus boy came to our table literally minutes after we were served, asking if we were still working on our meals, wanting to clear our plates. Anytime we paused eating to talk, he was there trying to clear our plates again. When asked if we’d like dessert, we asked to see the menu she responded “see what?!?!” We repeated, “the menu” and she then proceeded to just quickly tell us their list of desserts from memory, of which we only caught the first two, cannoli and tiramisu, which we ordered.

Love this place. I go frequently and am never disappointed! Great food! Great service
