Food was delicious. I had the baked chicken it was seasoned to perfection. The candied yams and macaroni was awesome. Hush puppies are the BEST. Definitely home cooked authentic southern dishes. Had lots of options on the menu. Portions were very fulfilling and prices were great. Definitely try it out.

Unbelievable. Home and cooked with love the old-fashioned way. Turnip Greens, Candied Yams, Mac and Cheese, the ribs are delicious over the top. What a wonderful and friendly place.

I had the shrimp dinner with Mac and cheese and collard greens greens. Let me tell you the good was so good and the his puppies I should of ordered more hush puppies. The shrimps taste just like how my mom fry hers. I loved everything on my plate and this was my first time going I will be back, I?m so glad I found a spot because I?m from New York and I couldn?t find a good soul good spot since I got here but now I have. This is my new go to spot.

I was told I wouldn't be able to find good ribs in the Carolinas, but I did. They keep a good variety of meat on the ready, and excellent sides. Will be visiting again on my next trip.

Oh, it's a hole in the wall, but you don't go there for the ambiance. Apparently you go there for the food! Yesterday was my first time there and the line stayed to the door the entire time I was there. The food is off the chain! The best meaty ribs, good old fashioned Mac and cheese and the collard were delicious! I will be returning!
