It’s a fast casual restaurant AND Italian market that sells lots of items that you would not normally find in a Publix type store. My meatball sandwich is pictured-it was Excellent. The staff at this place knows their stuff! If you haven’t been, give it a shot.
E. 48th Street Market recently catered a lunch for us for approximately 40 people. Everyone loved the food and despite receiving more food than expected, there was none left. All of it was so delicious. The staff was easy to work with and helpful with recommendations. Will definitely be ordering from them again for our next event.
Moderately interesting. For Italian sauce, on parmagianas and pastas, it was not very flavorful. I may try again some time but first time, not impressed.
They recently catered a party for me and from fruit to nuts, the service was amazing. We had the anti pasta platter, panini platter, artichoke pasta salad, regular salad, olive tapenade, bruschetta and cannolis. Seriously everyone at my party was raving, they all left so full. And I was not left with any leftovers, not even one cannoli. Thank you to the market team for knocking it out of the park, everyone at the party will be visiting you again soon. Many blessings.
My wife and I tried this Italian deli for the first time this past Wednesday. I ordered the chicken cutlet hoagie and she had the steak hoagie #8 East Sider). The Italian bread for both sandwiches was the star of the show; it was super fresh and delicious. Although they are priced fairly, our hoagies did not contain large portions of meat. I also had a cup of the pasta fagiolo. I got a cannoli for desert and it was fantastic. The service was fast and friendly. The cashier was super nice and delivered our food to the table. We dined in at the deli but my wife was disappointed that the deli has no public restrooms; she was told to walk across the parking lot to the Chick fill a to use their restrooms. That pretty much kills the deal for a return visit by my wife. The deli also sells several Italian grocery goods and wine. I will return and get some bakery items. The Cannoli was authentic and awesome and the eclairs looked good.
