Beer options were limited, so we went next door to get some beer on tap. There isplenty of outside seating and it's dog friendly too.
Spicy Seafood Ramen was nice and soothing, with spicy creamy broth, shrimp, mussels, squids, noodles, sweet corn, black mushroom, bamboo shoots, scallions, boiled egg, roasted seaweed?.. wish I would have ordered extra noodles?really reallyenjoyed!!! Also enjoyed the Devil Roll, crunchy and spicy. I?ll definitely back to try the empanadas upstairs!
I visited on a Friday evening around 5:45 PM and had no trouble finding a table. Our food arrived quickly, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Miso Ramen, along with the Tuna Donut and the Salmon Donut. My husband went for the Pad Thai and the vegetable rolls. We were both very satisfied with our meals! The restaurant is small; you place your order at the counter and they serve your dishes to you. After finishing, you clear your own table. We'll definitely be returning!
This was my first visit, and it was fantastic! For something unique, we tried the Salmon Topped Donut and the Spicy Shrimp Tempura, which offered an interesting twist on sushi that we really enjoyed. The Tan Tan Ramen was particularly flavorful and delicious! However, the Spring Rolls were just okay—good, but nothing special. The Coconut Shrimp was overcooked as well. One disappointing note: we were really looking forward to trying the Empanadas, Cafes, and Bubble Tea, but they're offered at a separate venue upstairs that closes at 8:30 PM, while Sweet Octopus stays open until 10:00 PM.
I ordered the chicken ramen and it was quite disappointing. The noodles tasted like something you'd find in instant ramen, and the broth was incredibly basic. For nearly $15, I expected freshly made noodles. Additionally, the sushi burritos were surprisingly small for the price, although they were delicious. Overall, this place simply doesn’t measure up to other ramen spots like Jinya.
