The Duck And Trout - Dullstroom

Unfortunately, they allow to smoke in the restaurant, a public place, so that this was a blooming for me.

2 x forellenfilet ordered. both were served half raw and could not eat them. food went back to the kitchen. when it was delivered, the waiter (if you can call it that) was dirty and had an open wound on his finger. we refused to pay. the waitress was very apologetic and said the normal cook was for the long weekend. not a manager in itself. shocking! shocking! shocking! we paid for our drinks and went and will never return.

Great food. the trout sushi plate is yam. and if more trout is required in dullstrom, the trout fillet had spicy chips. double jum. excellent service.

It's not a trip to Dullstroom unless you've have a few beers and rather substantial bite at the Duck and Trout. It's your local pub away from home. Come friendly. Leave happy.
