Harvester - Dudley

I ordered a vegan breakfast but was given garlic bread instead of muffins because they were no longer available. Other customers received muffins. The sausages were raw and warm, and the mushrooms were tiny. The rest of the meal was awful. The staff were nice though. The wallpaper was also worth mentioning.

The staff and management at this restaurant have a very negative attitude towards vegan customers. I was told by the manager that I couldn't have toast with my breakfast because it has butter in it, which is unacceptable. The vegan breakfast option is smaller and more expensive than the regular breakfast, showing that the restaurant is more interested in making money than accommodating the needs of their customers. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience.

I stopped by the restaurant after learning that they now offer a vegan breakfast, and not just any breakfast, but an unlimited one. I have no real complaints- the food was tasty and made fresh to order. This approach not only allows customers to consider how much they want to eat, but also helps to reduce food waste, which I believe is a better way to do it compared to a buffet. The menu choices for vegans have significantly improved compared to a year ago. A waitress even mentioned how they have simplified their options by using vegan ingredients in various dishes, such as using a vegan burger sauce for all burgers. Hats off to Harvester, we will definitely be returning to try out the rest of the menu.

Overall, I was impressed with the restaurant and will definitely be returning to try their main menu.
