I didn't like the fact that we had to ask the table next to us to come from their dinner so I could get out of the corner. I think they could use their place better for the dining room by making a short wall to open the escaping area in which we were. I also think the mantle can be reused and use it on a better wise. it looks like a wasted space that could be reworked. I'm not a professional decorator or general contractor, but there are only some opinions I have. Overall I thought it was a nice place to eat, but it didn't have the wow factor to drive back to dubuque and eat there again.
We had high hopes for a great date night and an opposing meeress. that was a great disappointment. our appetizer of fresh baked mushrooms was clearly standard frozen varieties served everywhere. most seasoned ding on my seafood plate was the green bean. the lobster was gum, the scallops chew, and the kujau tasteless. my partner seafood alfredo was bland and made with imitation cancer, although not called on the menu. at a price of $102 for 2 adults this was terrible.
Moracco never fails. from the drinks to the steaks it is always spit. love it. repeat the customer.
Amazing midwest experience. very high customer support. hillary and dawn are exceptional. if they have not experienced an dinner club, this is the experience they are looking for. simply ask the server what to get, they try everything they offer and relax and enjoy. the prices are unreal, not sure how they do it. really a good time, bring them some friends, drink, relax and enjoy.
Service was great and food was good but my husband left still hungry. His meal was steak and shrimp and was about $40. Steak was small and he only got 5 small shrimp. He was very disappointed.
