Kay's Kitchen - Dublin

I arrived right at the time when the restaurant was transitioning from serving breakfast to lunch. Unfortunately, the breakfast options were not very good. I had to stand in line to order the food, then stand in line again to pay, and finally had to wait for my order of chips. It was a bit chaotic, with people getting coffee in line at the register, causing those who had food to wait to pay. By the time I received my food, it was already starting to get cold.

The restaurant has ample seating and a pleasant ambiance. The food is good, though not exceptional. The breakfast is decent, but some shortcuts are noticeable, such as reheating pancakes and French toast. The poached eggs are cooked with vinegar, altering their appearance and texture. Overall, it is worth giving the restaurant a try.

Layout is all over the place ,one place to order food, another for coffee then pay

The food was great , also the staff was awesome and kind

The layout looks inviting, you have great views over the bay, but the canteen style set up (with good in heating trays) means having to go on one queue to get food and then wait and queue up again to get tea or coffee. I went to have breakfast this morning and had to give up as the person on the food counter was busy doing other things (preparing sandwiches for later). Just had to make do with a pot of tea. There are better options in the centre that are better organised.
