Itsa - Dublin

The food was great, choice of excellent soups and sandwiches, coffees, teas and cakes, pleasant staff and a cosy atmosphere. Great spot for lunch before visiting the gallery or going to a matinee in the nearby Gate Theatre.

Not a big fan of Itsa cafes but this is the exception certainly for my visits (3 or 4). We had tea and scones and sandwich and soft drinks service was good and food was also good. Service was not overly polished but friendliness compensated for this.

This cafe is downstairs on the Hugh Lane Gallery. There for lunch with a few others. It never seems to be full and I think that 's due to lack of promotion. Why not call it the Hugh Lane Cafe!? Staff are polite and friendly. The venue is kept clean and tidy and good for a relaxing coffee or indeed a meeting. There is a nice menu with beautifully made sandwiches and bagels and salads. Sandwiches are not your standard cafe fare here I recommend the Italian Job €6.75.

Worth seeking out this one. It is in the basement of the Municipal Art Gallery. Enter, turn right and go down the stairs. Popular with people taking leisurely lunches. Don't just see it as a bagel place...the choice is wider and the food is good. Busy at lunchtime. Open on Saturdays as well.
