Great atmosphere in the upper restaurant. Open and modern furnishings. Best meat in Dresden in this price category. Excellent staff.

Very well maintained and stylish restaurant. It's a typical Canadian steakhouse. Very noble. Here you're very fond of Canadians and Americans. Eating is good, even if it is from the price category at the further upper end. We ate rinderfilet, which was really good. The service is always nice and friendly. I particularly appreciate the musical performance on an evening in the form of a pianist. Ds Restaurant is very nice, right on the Frauenkirche.

We had planned a birthday dinner at the Canadian steakhouse “ONTARIO” in Dresden opposite the Frauenkirche and ordered it by phone. There were seven of them, with crew volunteers from three generations (2 x G1, 4 x G2 and only 1 x G3, the others were unfortunately prevented. After a short hungsproducing walk over the Brühlsche Terrasse (see [here link] past the main train (see [here link]) we went to our restaurant. One hour before the visit, I had the Freesienstrauß (Muttis favorite flowers, she should know nothing about it and I didn't have to go through the city. They marked our table clearly... We were kindly received and the Coronadingens worked out. Then we got the menus at the table and it started the problems, not with the restaurant and its staff, but with the extensive tasty wide offer on the map. Because this offer is so diverse.... After all, everyone had become aware of his desire for food, how often I was the last to decide. On our wish or order list there were drinks: 2 x “Black Steiger”, a fresh black beer and 2 x bottles of Canadian Pale Ale as well as the alcohol-free Apple Ginger Martini, Sanbitter Tonic and the homemade Pear Cranberry-Limonade. Now the dishes were canceled and the young woman has made the most accurate note, there were some special requests. We ordered: 3 x fillet tips with ribbon noodles, 1 x 180 gr. Tri Tip Steak „Bürgemeistersteak medium“, with Portweinsoße, 2 x grilled Elchsteak, Karibu with Portwein Cranberry sauce and once Bisonstaek with Bourbon Whiskey pepper sauce. The meat was boiled to the point in all dishes, the sauces of each one poem, the vegetables super tasty, whether the beans, the wild broccoli with hemp seeds or the mushrooms. After dinner there were square beards of teas (chococake with cherries and chocolate coating “Ben Jerry’s” chocolate Fudge Brownie and Caramel Chew Pekan nuschocolate, “Ben Jerry’s” chocolate Fudge Brownie, whipped cream, caramel sauce, raspberry pure, cheesecake, pecan nuts, popcorn toffee caramel and blueberry. She was very bright and attentive, without being intrusive, a degree hike that dominated her great. At the end we left there about 300 euros, we paid them with pleasure, most of them with plastic money and a smaller part in cash. We, because two brothers naturally shared the birthday dinner for their parents. It was tasteful for all of us a gastronomy. My biggest problem here was that what I have almost everywhere I couldn't taste everything. The tasty offer still requires some visits to “work off”. The Steakhouse and its partners in Dresden are therefore available for the next visits here. There is full score and favorite heart.

Super location and delicious food. Were on the way and have found a nice place. In beautiful weather it would have been even better to enjoy the direct view of the Frauenkirche even better. The food was delicious, although prices were slightly higher. But salmon and co. is usually a little more expensive. In any case it tastes, the location is correct and the colonization is beautiful. Everybody likes it again!
