For more than 4 years the Luisenhof has been in the culinary hands of the Rühle family. Everything has become a tick chic, fresher and modern, but still or just a half super tasty and recommended. Especially that the boss is always present here, you are personally welcomed and advised, makes the charm of this house. In the (dirty) Corona times, menu boxes were offered for pick-up, which were absolutely delicious and a geese etaxi has supplied the Dresden at home with kötsliche Weihnachtsgänsen. In short: All top and always happy.
On Friday 18.02.22, decided to dine in the Luisenhof. Cold dining room, ambience very good, wait for food 50 minutes too long, the food Wildgulasch the last. Gulasch and red cabbage totally boils a single pap!! Stir the dumplings and dry. The children's food was good. Not so much soaked in oil. All in all a bad experience. Unfortunately!!!!
A few years ago, I had removed my former review for this location and requested deletion from Golocal. Why? Because the owner gave up the business and the property should be sold. New provision : Establishment of high quality apartments in this particular location on the Elbhang high above Dresden. At that time, there were considerable resistances in the population to the project to create private housing and thus to end the long tradition of an inn. Somehow the success was successful, because the Luisenhof has now opened up as a restaurant in old splendour and thoroughly renovated. The view is the same, indescribably beautiful. The gastronomic concept was redesigned as there are now two rails. High-quality near-star kitchens and the traditional offer, more reminiscent of homemade cuisine. We have tried the latter, especially since the price can still be regarded as popular. Tastefully flawless, waiting time for the food pleasant, operators excellent. Clear recommendation for a visit to Dresden.
Very nice location, shady garden, good kitchen, friendly service, but sometimes a bit too caring (multiple demand, whether there are any wishes)
We ate dinner here and we came back for Sunday brunch. They have hands down the best kartoffel soup we've had in Dresden. I had a lamb shank that had too..
