Although it was cold and raining, we decided to go inside and see what this place is all about. The aroma of sweet waffles hits you as soon as you open the door- my mouth was already watering. Since it was our first time, we asked what the most popular waffle was and the nice kid at the register said the Nutella and of course I had to get it. My husband got two waffles not knowing they?d be so big. He got the waffle ice cream sandwich because it reminded him of summers at the Jersey shore growing up. Did not disappoint! Everything we had was delicious, honestly- we could?ve eaten the waffle all by itself! Definitely lived up to our expectations! I also loved reading the story of how they came to be on the wall inside. Very neat! We live for places like this! Also service was great and the staff was friendly and asked us if we had any questions on anything. Will come back!
We came here Sunday morning to grab some brunch for family we were visiting. We LOVE Waffle Love in American Fork but..I have absolutely no good things to write about Waffle Love Draper. We arrived and there wasn’t a single customer in the dining area but almost every table was covered in garbage, syrup, or some other form of a spill. We decided to try and use the kiosk to order ourselves since the five staff members were much to busy jamming with their headphones in, eating assortments of waffles and play wrestling with each other to notice we were waiting for their assistance. After not being able to find the seasonal waffles on the kiosk we decided to ask a work who very rudely shouted “It’s not on there!” So we asked if we can just order at the counter. The cashier didn’t speak hardly any English and struggled through the entire order. The moment we ordered the seasonal waffle the rude girl shouted “No! We don’t have that one!” My husband was very patient with them and finally was able to place our order. After waiting, I will say a not very long amount of time, they called our name and only had two of the waffles. We then struggled to communicate that we had ordered and paid for a total of four waffles. They added another waffle and yet again they struggled to understand we had ordered and paid for four waffles. The cashier who wasn’t able to speak English motioned for help from one of the other employees while he kept trying to out his AirPods back in and the girl came back to the front, visibly and audibly frustrated with us and the cashier, and said “Nope you only ordered three and was only charged for three but i guess I’ll give it to you free.” Overall worst experience at a Waffle Love we’ve ever had. Never going back to this location unfortunately.
Went with my kids to this one in Draper when we usually go to the one on Fort Union. The guy couldn’t understand me when I ordered first of all secondly, on my sandwich I didn’t want bacon or sausage and just wanted one extra piece of cheese and he wanted me to pay for that, even though I didn’t want the most expensive thing on my sandwich, he got it wrong anyway. There were no ice for our drinks and none of the drinks were working but still charged me for everything. Next time I will go to a place that understands English because I still think I’m in America. It was the worst experience I have ever had.
Horrible customer service. The cashier didn’t speak a lot of English so he didn’t understand any orders so there was a long line to order. He answered the headset for the drive through right as he was looking at me so it seemed like he was talking to me. I told him my order thinking he was talking to me, he wasn’t, so he put his hand up to stop me. The lady working next to him just stood there laughing at me. Good food, not great. One waffle was dry, one was soggy. We got one waffle ten minutes before we got the other one.
Food was delicious and came out pretty quickly despite them being busy at the time I showed up. It's a bit small in there and gets very loud with all the echo and music though, I recommend you eat at the outside tables if the weather is nice. Parking: It's in a large parking lot but the restaurant itself only has a few spots in front so during busy hours you'll have to walk a little bit
