Ate here years ago and thought we would try again, but this time. Years ago we tried her all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. The food was okay, but so much rice in her rolls, and if you weren't ready, you would have to pay extra (for the rest of the food). Rice is cheap. This was obviously an attempt to maximize profit and leave a bad taste in my mouth. This time, as it was a number of years, we thought we would try the food again. This time we ordered the execution. The hostess was very pleasant. Food was good (and certainly had less rice since we ordered a la carte). The restaurant looks comfortable and is conversation and family friendly. I can come back as food and service are decent, but by then must reserve further verdicts about their all-you-can-eat option. Follow me on Instagram @myphotobuffet
Great choice for affordable, quality sushi!. Sushi City is best known for its all-you-can-eat lunch and dinner buffet options. Everything is freshly made and included is a wonderful, plentiful and good selection of foods. By far the best all-you-can-eat sushi place in the western suburbs of Chicago. Great service and ambience. *A note about the service: With the word of the mouth that spreads around this place, it has become much alive. The service makes its best to handle it. *A reference to food quality: It is good food, very tasty! But some people may complain about the amount of rice and fish... the food is absolutely wonderful and overly-picky people with high expectations have certainly renounced their reputation. Each roll is handmade with freshly baked premium white jasmin rice and the freshest fish in the suburbs. Great options for non-sushi eaters, such as delicious dinner ducks and noodles. Vegetarian and vegan friendly too! Definitely worth a visit!
Fantastic! My wife and I regularly go to Chicago and always go to the local favorites like Portillo's and Lou Malnati's/Giordano's/Gino's East, but this place is on the list. We don't get an affordable sushi where we live, so we always look for a sushi repair and this place overwhelmed us. First the staff was great!! I never felt so welcome in a restaurant like me when we came in. There was a beautiful young host who just made our experience the best!! We went for everything you can eat so we could get the special roles and my thinking is now, why not? We tried many different roles (Shrimp Tempura, Philly Roll, Spicy Salmon, Crazy Maki) and tried the Torched Dragon and the Mexican Maki from the special menu. Different flavors but both were brilliant!! All we had was great. I highly recommend this place if you love sushi. This is now a Chicago area favorite for us and we go every time we go to Chicago for a weekend....what is often. I can't wait to go back.
This place is great! The staff is really fantastic. I love the food! Quality food for a great price. Beautiful decor and a very comtemporary feel. My friends and I always look forward to going!
