Had a lovely meal of Rock and Chips, very well cooked and tasty. Lovely chat with the owner about sourcing sustainable fish, msc and plastic pollution. We both agreed the way forward would be to make fishing nets from biodegradeble material again instead of nylon. We came in with a wheelchair and were made to feel very welcome. Next time we're hoping for a jazz session on the piano

Went in and was greeted by this lovely young boy, who took my order and was so very polite. However, I do not like how the friar treated this boy. He had no respect for him, and was shouting at him to do all this stuff when all the friar did himself was put the food in and stand around chatting. The food was nice but personally I wouldn’t go back to this chip shop, due to the pure disrespect of the friar

Perfect cod and chips probably the best I have tasted. Light batter and crispy chips and they clean the skin from the underneath.

I came across this restaurant while strolling around Deal and decided to have an early dinner. The place was clean and the owner was very friendly. We watched as the cod and chips were cooked in front of us, and the prices were reasonable. The meal was delicious, some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. We both finished our plates. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious fish and chips. The dish is freshly cooked with no skin, and the homemade mushy peas are a tasty addition. The owner shows a strong passion for using quality, locally sourced ingredients.
