While passing through Dothan, I was hoping to find some good barbecue and pleasantly surprised to find Barbecue King. Everything was exceptional. The pulled pork, sauces, mac&cheese, and sweet potato fries were so good, I woke up thinking about lunch. Everyone was super nice and I really liked the look/feel of the restaurant (captain’s chairs were a bonus). 5/5 stars.
The food was done right!! The barbecue was cooked with patience and the ribs were very tender and falling off the bone. The greens had a little too much vinegar but otherwise were delicious. The macaroni and cheese was delicious!!
The food here is soooo delicious. If you like barbeque then you definitely need to try this place! I've only had the pulled pork so I can't comment on the other menu items but my boyfriend has had several of the other menu items and absolutely loves it all. Also, it is a locally owned restaurant and has survived COVID so PLEASE HELP SUPPORT OUR LOCAL BUSINESS' AND KEEP THEM UP AND RUNNING!!
