Las Delicias De La Abuela - Doraville

Las Delicias de la Abuela is located at 5499 Buford Highway NE, Doraville, GA 30340, directly across from a large QT and just south of I-285. The building has hosted several restaurants over the years, including a few Mexican establishments and originally a Del Taco. Its exterior still retains the same shape and appearance as before. Parking is available in a lot that surrounds the building, although it can be somewhat tricky to access from the north due to the divided lanes on Buford Highway, which accommodate turns onto I-285. The restaurant itself is relatively small, reminiscent of its fast food origins. During my visit, there was a gentleman singing classic Colombian songs, though this might be a rare occurrence rather than a regular feature.

Great spot if you're craving authentic Colombian food! The empanadas were fantastic, and the main dishes were excellent. However, there's room for improvement when it comes to their drink selection!

I'd like to stop here when I go to the Buford Farmers Market. Going to the market is a treat for me as it is so far, but the food here makes the trip even better. I tried a few different dishes and all were good.
