I fell in love with Korean fried chicken when I visited Seoul. This place brings me back! I loved her sweet garlic roasted chicken. Half the chicken is more than enough to fill someone. We had to take things home! Try a hit beer from the refrigerator. It is Korean beer that goes perfectly with the delicious serving of fried chicken!
Love the roasted chicken, glass noodles and the bibimbop in the hot stone, which has been pierced hot. We did half the chicken regularly and the other half as soya garlic. Both were delicious. This is also a great restaurant for Covid times, because the tables are separated by a chest wall.
The bulgogi fries are amazing! Big portions with a ton of flavor. They could easily be a lunch for 2, but that would mean not getting some of the perfectly fried chicken. Hello Chicken just became one of my regular stops on Buford Highway.
I will say the reviews about the smell I feel 99% sure that smell was the food I got the radish daikon banchan takeout and my house had the same smell opening it. It is very strong not sure if they produce it there, and it may be a reason for you not to dine in and instead get takeout and not order the radish if you don’t like the fermented radish smell, but I wouldn’t say bathroom smell is accurate and it doesn’t give me any reason to believe it is unsanitary. Perhaps they could ventilate the storage for it better so the dining area isn’t quite as strong. Food was good; heavy, street style but I liked the fried chicken. My favorite accompaniment was the spicy rice cakes.
