They have a grill you can sit around and cook the meat on as well as awesome sides. We ordered Gaalbi gui (gall-bee gooey) and haemul pajah (hah-mull pah-jah). If you are a newbie to Korean barbecue like I was I suggest you try those two!
Good Korean food for lunch today. Fast, friendly and efficient service in a very neat and clean environment. Everything was served at their appropriate temperatures and the ingredients were fresh. The banchan here had some different varieties from what I have come across recently, including one that reminded me of standard potatoe salad! Seasoning on the entrees today seemed a bit reserved, so another visit is in order!
Amazing lunch special. I couldn't believe the amount of food they gave me for $9. Ordering the Bulgogi box, I got soup, a container of rice, a box full of cold sides, and then a box full of noodles, sushi, tempura veggies, plus a huge portion of beef. I am a big guy and could not finish it all. It would honestly be enough for two meals or two people. All of the sides were tasty, as was the soup and beef. If you are new to Korean food, come here hungry and try this. What a deal and such delicious food. Service was fast and friendly.
This is my to-go restaurant for Korean food as others on I-85 North are very far from me. I stick to basics. Great hot pot bibimbap.
Food was very good but not the best Korean food I 've had in Atlanta. The banchan dishes were nice and refills were offered. My soup was fresh and full of lovely vegetables but definitely not the spicy that I ordered. I guess they thought I couldn 't handle it because I 'm American. Usually even 'medium spicy ' is hot enough to take the top layer of skin off your tongue at most Korean restaurants. This was more like mild to me, not spicy at all. I 'll probably be back to sample other dishes because the food was fresh and well presented even though it wasn 't spicy enough. The building held a bit of nostalgia for me. I remember eating there with my father many times as a child in the 70s-80s when it was Szechwan Gardens. The interior was unrecognizable but they left the exterior and sign much the same as I remember it. Kudos to the owners for updating the interior of such an old building to be clean and airy feeling. I just wish they were not afraid to give an American really spicy food because I love it.
