El Pollo Sabroso

It's a chicken joint. A very good chicken joint. This is not a good meal, but for a large group of chicken lovers it is the place to eat. Only over all meals have chickens in them. Since there is no English review, I decided to write one – because this is one of the favorite Mexican places for delicious, cheap chicken in Dolores Hidalgo. As you walk from the main square of Jalisco Street, the main Pollo Sabroso (Medium Tastey Chicken in Spanish) is about 150 meters along the road on the right side. It is not well marked, but in the entrance the girls sell the roasted chicken on the road, and when you go in and through the main counter, there is a small dining area in the back, about 8 tables. But right across the street, there is a large double door and a corridor in a larger dining area where there is much more space for sitting and eating, and a small play area for the children. It's a bit loud, a few days, and usually a bit crowded, but I prefer this page, although the service can be a little slow, as they bring the order from the other side of the road. You can order the roast chicken, half a chicken, a quarter chicken, a whole chicken etc. and it will come with salad and bowls rice. There are other side orders, such as Pommes and Guacamole etc. Then they have chicken dishes, such as mol sauce with chicken – this is a chocolate and Chile sauce, which is very traditional here, and pollo a la plancha, that is a grilled chicken steak with frits, onions, guacamole and salad. They also have flutes, medium flutes – this is chicken rolled in tortillas and easily fritted, and served with cream, hot sauce and fresh cheese. Children like flutes quite. Prices will vary depending on the order, but on about 450 pesos for 4 persons, which is about $25. Take out is about 250 pesos for two chickens, less than $15. Once again this is not gourmet, but if you are hungry and go with the right setting, you will be pleasantly surprised.

La comida es deliciosa y las porciones son abundantes. El servicio es amable y rápido. El área para niños necesita una limpieza, especialmente el piso. ¡Se recomienda este restaurante para disfrutar en pareja o en familia!

El pollo es delicioso, con un sabor excelente, te lo sirven en cantidades ideales para dos personas en un plato. La atención es rápida y el precio muy bueno. ¡Sales satisfecho! :)

Non serve cercare un lussuoso ristorante per mangiare un buon pollo. A passeggio per le vie di Dolores Hidalgo capita di sentire un delizioso profumo ed essere attratti da "El Pollo Sabroso", dove cucinano una grande quantità di polli per servirli ai molti tavoli del locale o anche per portarli via. Il pollo viene servito insieme a verdura in insalata e le immancabili tortillas con le salse più o meno piccanti e i peperoni jalapeños. Si paga pure poco...
