Silk Route - Dishpur

This tranquil restaurant sits on the banks of the Brahmaputra River, making it the perfect spot for a peaceful afternoon with the family. The menu is somewhat limited but the food is decently tasty. It's also a lovely drive along the river to get there.

This restaurant is located somewhere between Guwahati and Hajo. It has a large area with plenty of open space. We ordered some simple dishes along with a few Assamese specialties. It's a good place to visit if you're in a group and have some time to spare, but otherwise it's just average. If you're in a hurry, you can skip it.

Dirty rooms and food is not good.Area is in Fancy Bazar so overall not bad and there are good eating options outside the hotel. But inside the hotel it's shabby and filthy.
