Purchased a whole Pickerel at 2.61lbs. I had it filleted and fried as a dinner purchase. The food was good but I don’t think we received all the meat off the bones. The fillets were very thin, thinner than the orders I get from my other favorite fish markets. My husband and I was giving this place a try since it’s closer to our home. I’m not sure if we’ll be returning.

I have been coming here for years now. Fish and chicken is always fresh. Reasonable prices as well. Food is pretty good that they sell too. Definitely one of my go to spots. Check them out y’all!!

The level of excellent service I received from Vergotes Poultry Fish Market is INCREDIBLE! I placed an order for 200 chicken wings for an event I was hosting , the staff were very professional and accommodating . The size of the whole wings were impressive , the staff informed me that the wings were from an Amish meat distributor that supplies all naturally fed poultry. The chicken was fried seasoned to perfection! The chicken wings were not over seasoned and came with an option to add extra flavor on top (if desired). The taste of Vergotes chicken wings is unmatched hot , fresh and perfectly seasoned ! I definitely will return!

So, let me tell you about Vergotes! I've been going here for years... the food is STILL GOOD, the service was great, and the cook was so attentive, helpful, or informative. The prices are reasonable and EVERYTHING was fresh and good! I love this place and will continue to support.
