Firebird Tavern - Detroit

Built in the 1880’s with architectural remnants everywhere (if you’re into that) the wood workmanship of that era was preserved and is so beautiful. The peach old fashioned was very delicious. The food was made to perfection and the service was great! We will be back!

This place turned out to be a hidden Diamond in the rough, to watch the Lions game! Service was outstanding through the roof as busy as they were. Food was awesome. Drink prices were reasonable. I don't go to downtown very often, but highly recommend this spot to hang out and watch the games! Customers came in goods to catch the very end. The waitress fidca phenominal job processing them all very quickly abd getting drinks in everyone's hand before the Lions 73 second drive even ended! She was amazing! The pouting was awesome hard to find on this side of the border! Service, food, drinks, crowd were a night day difference from the stuffy overpriced seafood place across the street, with the terrible service!

So we walked in to this place after a Lion's preseason game and I thought it was just going to be another super busy bar where we had to wait an hour to get service and the food would be disappointing. Man.....I was so wrong!! We found a table even though the place was packed, the server came over right away and was extremely nice. The food was exceptional and worth the money. Very loud inside but gives you that excitement atmosphere and everyone is having a great time. Very clean inside and upscale food. Get the steak medallions..... you're welcome!! Lots of draft beer and good mixed drink options. We will definitely be going back.

Stopped in for a cocktail and Serena was up for the challenge. Two tequila drinks I've never had and they were amazing! Awesome bar with a very relaxed atmosphere!
