My favorite breakfast place in the country. Have been coming here for years. Never let's me down except when they're closed lol
Food: I had the pleasure of enjoying this diner, i order regular hashbrowns, egg whites, and that came with a side of pancakes and I added bacon and my total wasnt over 20$. It was a decent amount of food for a price of 1 and I enjoyed the cold apple juice which made the food 10x better. I know they have small pancakes but the buttermilk pancakes taste sooo good to me. I overall enjoyed my food. Everything was prepared fresh infront of me. My waitress was also very attentive and nice regardless of the restaurant being full. Atmosphere: I would say its a small intimate space. It is a diner at a motel but there is a good amount of space for parking its free.
I love this place. This is so authentic I pray this never goes away. This sweet little slice of heaven is a Detroit staple. I have been coming back for years and will wait in line on any given day to enjoy not only the food but experience. Enjoy a tasty breakfast or lunch to the background of local, vintage, urban soul and R&B, laughter and loving conversation. Great prices delicious food, excellent services.
Food was great. Service was well No one was in a good mood. Yes the busser was and we tipped him. He did more for us than the rest of the service staff. The cooks were very busy and did a great job getting the food out. Cash only but they have a credit card machine and I saw a lady pay with card. So not sure what's up with that. If you drink decaf coffee expect crazy looks. Again the food was great.
