Sam's Fine Food Egg Rolls - Des Moines

We were looking for aunthetic Chinese food and after asking a few friends for suggestions, more than a few people suggested Sam's. We arrived at 8:45pm, ordered food and sat down to eat. Little did we know they closed at 9pm. We were greeted with huge smiles, open arms and had the best service I've ever had. We kept adding food to the order, and they kept bringing food and joking with us. I had the best egg rolls, crab ragoons, and pot stickers ive ever had. Serving of 4 pot stickers is enough for 4 people. Mangolian beef was awesome, hot and sour soup was fresh and great. I'm in love, and I can't wait to have Sam cook for us again! I'd leave 6 stars if I could.

Sam's is always amazing if you're looking for Chinese or Thai food. Wife had beef and broccoli, I had pork pad Thai, both of us had an egg roll (it's in the name of the place, you can't not have one). Great quality and quantity.

Sam's Fine Egg Roll is a small establishment with just a few tables inside and one outside. As soon as I entered, Sam, the chef, welcomed me with a cheerful greeting. The woman at the counter, whose name I didn’t catch, was also very friendly. After I placed my order and paid, I sat down and she promptly brought me a can of Pepsi. Though I usually prefer iced tea, their drink options are limited to canned soda or water, which was perfectly fine. I appreciated that she also provided a cup of ice. The egg roll I had was the best I’ve ever tasted, and the Mongolian beef was equally delightful, with a generous portion of beef. Throughout my visit, I was checked on a couple of times, and the place had a steady flow of customers. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit!

This is undoubtedly the best Chinese food in town. We've been visiting Sam's for over a year now, and it has become our favorite takeout spot. The quality and flavor are unbeatable!

What a fantastic experience! We looked up 'best Chinese food near me' and Sam’s was the top recommendation. First off, the service was excellent. The staff greeted us warmly and were very friendly. We ordered takeout, and our food was ready in under 10 minutes. The egg rolls lived up to their reputation and were absolutely delicious. We also tried the sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken, both of which were wonderful! We will definitely be returning!
