Excellent food. Service was great even while they were busy. Definitely get a cup of gumbo and chase it with a hurricane. Go after the lunch rush to avoid the wait.

Overall, pretty good. The original catfish chips are what they built the business on for the last 40+ years I've been going there. The grilled red drum was good but a bit dry along the edges. It didn't stop me from eating the whole thing. Thought abouteating on the covered patio in the rear bit its getting too hot even in the evening. Did see a couple of gators in the back.Staff is friendly and courteous.

Every time I drive by, the parking lot is always packed to the brim. I'm so glad I finally decided to stop in! The food is incredible—definitely the best bread pudding I've ever had! The overall experience was fantastic, with great food, service, and atmosphere. I will definitely be returning often, even though I live over an hour away. It's absolutely worth the trip!

For our appetizer, we ordered the Honey Sriracha Crawfish, and I highly recommend it! It was absolutely delicious. The crawfish was served on a bed of coleslaw, and even though I'm not usually a fan of coleslaw, I ended up eating it because it paired perfectly with the battered crawfish tails. I opted for the seared tuna with crab sauce and chose corn grits as my side dish. The tuna was cooked to perfection, and both the sauce and the grits were delightful. My wife ordered the Seafood Pasta, which was also fantastic. They also make a great Bloody Mary! I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return.

Great location! We were welcomed by a couple of alligators lounging in a bayou canal behind the restaurant before dinner. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, featuring intriguing antiques and decor inspired by typical Louisiana swamp creatures. The food was outstanding—generous portions and beautifully presented. The service was quick and friendly. In summary, if you're from the South, you absolutely have to try this place, and if you're visiting from elsewhere, you definitely won't want to miss it!
