The Pudding Room - Derbyshire Dales

The owners of this restaurant are always warm and friendly. We have dined here several times and always enjoy delicious food, great service, a clean and inviting atmosphere – the perfect spot to kick back and relax after a long week!

We happened upon the Pudding Room while returning from a bike ride and were delighted with the find! The lemon meringue was absolutely delicious. The prices were reasonable and the lady who served us was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place!

I haven't been camping in over ten years. Recently, I went with 17 other guys and one lady from work for a team-building trip. When we arrived, a lovely lady greeted us and was very helpful and accommodating. She was an excellent tour guide and provided breakfast service for me and my colleagues on our own plot. This campsite was the only one in the vicinity that allowed a large group of men to camp together. I want to commend her and her partner for their hospitality. The cakes, coffee, and breakfast were delicious and made with locally sourced ingredients. We give this place a 10/10 rating and we definitely plan to revisit. A wonderful find, slightly off the beaten track near Carsington reservoir. A peaceful country location with outside dining available, perfect for a hot summers day. Also nicely appointed tables inside through the French windows. The whole place is unassuming and chilled.

Worth seeking out this little gem of a place. Great selection of cakes and puddings. The apple crumble was superb
