The plants are the highlight of this place and if that 's not your cup of tea, I 'd recommend going to Left Coast or Pirate coffee instead..The sausage egg and cheddar sandwich was served on a slightly tough biscuit instead of a croissant as stated but still not bad. My blended drink however had the potency of basic drip coffee and I had to keep asking the girl to add espresso shots and eventually just left unsatisfied feeling like my at home espresso machine/blender can make a much better drink. Also, BEWARE if you are heat sensitive and plan to visit this establishment. At 8AM (on a late march day) the temp inside had to be pushing 80 plus degrees. It was downright uncomfortable while only wearing a thin rain jacket. Upon leaving my BF joked that the extreme heat is how the barrista keeps people from hanging around too long inside the store and if that were the truth I wouldn 't be totally surprised lol. She was never rude persay but not what most would consider friendly . Photo is of tiny 2 inch planter sign we bought but had I know it was $6.00 before it was rang it up I probably would have passed on it just like the $30 plus dollar odd shaped metal scissors I looked at.Kid-friendliness: Keep a look out for plants with high toxicity levels while visiting!
