1. They are extremely organized. Gail leads her team through every detail with checklists to ensure that everything is properly clarified beforehand. They act as de facto day-of coordinators, coordinating with all vendors and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. We even made the decision to have our family attend the ceremony just 3 hours before the wedding, and the team seamlessly adjusted the schedule without any stress on our part. 2. They only host one event per day, allowing for flexibility in the use of the space, especially in case of weather changes. 3. They take care of the bride and groom, providing a private suite for them to relax, eat, and drink after the ceremony. The bride even has her own spacious bathroom to accommodate her dress. 4. The food is absolutely amazing. Gail assured us that they could serve a full ballroom of guests within minutes without compromising on quality, and she was right. I had the fish with seafood and lobster sauce, and it was delicious. They were able to accommodate several guests with allergies and the dessert plates were a hit with everyone. 5. They prioritize COVID-19 safety while still ensuring that couples have the wedding day they deserve. When restrictions were implemented just a week before our wedding, Gail was quick to adjust our plans accordingly. The only downside is that they only accept payment by check, but I understand the reasoning behind it. Overall, I cannot recommend this venue and Gail's team highly enough. They made our wedding day unforgettable and we are so grateful for their hard work and dedication.

We chose to have our special day at the Sea View restaurant, and it was the best decision we ever made. The location is fantastic, right by the sea. The venue itself offers breathtaking views and is beautifully designed inside. The bar and terrace were perfect for our cocktail hour, and the space easily accommodated our live band and 140 guests. Working with Gail made the planning process stress-free, as she was always available to answer our questions. On the day of our wedding, Gail and her staff made sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to truly enjoy our celebration. The entire evening was flawless, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the Sea View to anyone considering getting married in Cape Town.
