I’m particularly fond of their Blackened fish offerings. Cosy, casual atmosphere with friendly staff. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed! -A
My entire experience here was just wonderful. To start, the place had such a happy energy and very true to the Irish pub feel that makes you feel right at home. The customer service was amazing. J.R was my server and he was super friendly, helpful and served everyone I seen with a smile and kindness. The food was perfect and taste delicious, I had the potato soup and fish and chips. My beer was even poured so perfectly I felt like I was in a pub in Ireland. To top it off they had a great band playing, Uproot Hootenanny , check them out sometime if you're reading this. What a great time. Please go hear and have a wonderful night. .
We stopped in this Irish pub last Saturday afternoon just for a couple of beers and a serving of fries. The place was almost empty at that time, but it is a very typical Irish pub. It’s very spacious with a corner dedicated to live music; and they also have a big outdoor patio. I just wish we would live closer: they have a variety of events all week, from live music to Texas hold them tournaments and other fun stuff! As it happens in many places, the music in the background wasn’t matching the environment, but I was lucky that when we were there, there was a small group of people at a table playing Irish music! The pub has a good variety of imported beers and friendly staff: we are surely going to return to chill and try their food
I like this bar! It has some personality, maybe it’s the décor, but it is a different place than the usual So-Fla bar chains. We were at the bar and only had fries so can’t talk about the food. They have a good choice of draft beers and that’s the main thing for an Irish pub. Talking about Irish, why no Irish pub around here ever plays some Irish music? The music was just off with the place, anyways… Service was good and we learnt they have live music and poker tournaments regularly. I am not often around this area, but I will go back again when nearby, nice place to relax with a few good beers. By the way, Tim Finnegan’s is located on US1 north of Lindell Blvd. This is an area where you can TVF– which is how I named what my wife and I do sometimes: Travelling via Food. So, around here, actually in the same shopping center, you can go have an Italian pastry for breakfast at Grelma’s Bakery with a solid espresso. Then head to Tim Finnegan’s for lunch and a Guinness, and finally go to Las Catrinas for a margarita and some chips and salsa or tacos. Italy-Ireland-Mexico in the same shopping center!
Poor service, Mediocre Food It seemed like a nice place in a chain of restaurants that I was looking forward to eating at again. But, I assume that with the Tim in front of Finnegans it was not part of the well known chain. I was very disappointed. Their bar had a good amount of customers watching two sports screens. But the restaurant had one solitary customer when we arrived. We found our own seats and had to gesticulate several times to the only person serving at the bar. (Later a younger, less experienced server arrived). Are food was fairly quick in arriving, but was not well presented or cooked. I had been relishing corned beef and cabbage. However, not this one where the carrots and other veggies were not fully cooked. The corned beef was plentiful, but very bland. Again, when we wanted to prepare to leave the waitresses passed, but never notice that we were finished until be gesticulated strenuously. The eating experience as well as the food was not worth the visit.
