I have visited several Firehouse Subs locations, but the Delray branch is my top choice. Christian and Spencer were extremely friendly, hospitable, and well-informed. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the food was fantastic! Thank you, Spencer and Christian, for providing exceptional service.
I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, but I stopped for a while because of the poor management and staff. However, I recently decided to give them another chance around February/March 2022 and it has been a complete turnaround. The new manager is significantly better and the food is consistently delicious. The staff members are very friendly and if they ever make a mistake, they go above and beyond to fix it. It's a huge improvement and I hope the new manager continues so that I can continue ordering from them.
It hurts my heart to give this store a bad rating but something has to be done about the “manager” Emilio. I read the reviews and noticed a trend; rudeness. Every time I enter the whole staff greats me by NAME. 60k+ VIP points would tell you why. Ever since his arrival my trips to this store have been less than pleasant. I see it in the poor staffs faces. He is bad for business, hence why my staff nor I will return until something is done. Given these rough times I know there are countless other good hearted people that need work and would be more than grateful for the opportunity. Unfortunately, misery and disdain is the only energy in there now. Please figure it out for your sake and ours. As a delivery driver for Doordash, I interact with a variety of people. Typically, busy restaurants result in overworked, underpaid, and tired staff who may come across as rude. However, I had a wonderful experience today with Tanya, the general manager of Firehouse Subs. During these challenging times, a simple smile can make a big difference.
