Restaurant Chateau de Domont

If you approach the old castle, you would apologise for expecting an exceptional setting, it is not every day that a lunch in a castle. The ambience is therefore rather a little disappointing rustic and casual than palatial. But food and service were good. An excellent perche meuniere accompanied by exceptional fried potatoes. Previously, it's about a simple mixed salad in a delicious, brownish vinaiigrette. As mentioned, the service was good and very friendly, although we had to wait a long time for our bill and remember our waitress. Good value for Switzerland.

Great news, Domont is under new management and back to his old glory. Just open Friday to Sunday, but we were there yesterday for a wonderful lazy lunch. Instead of driving away with the last team, there is a huge welcome sign on the lawn and the whole place was full of activity. They brought us to our table and the manager came out to shake hands and welcome us despite a lot of work. The incredible environment has even been improved. There was always the great view and the shadow of the huge trees around the outside of the castle, now they have added many animals and activities for children. You can also see that the fruit trees on the lawn below get a love. Have a long sunny lunch on the lawn while your children play with children from the other tables (there is a climbing frame and toy house and many other toys), or feed the goats and rabbits. Our meal was unpretentious, but very good I had to start a salad, fillet mignon with mushrooms, fresh veg and sparrow and some ice cream for dessert. There is a small children's menu with chips, a house made bread pork fillet or ham. Good selection of wines. It's easy family recovery. But Domont has always been able. Walk through the forest or fields with family or friends and enjoy the beautiful Jura hills, the view and the castle and thank the stars that they never managed to turn it into a golf course.

We drove around Jura and searched for a quiet place to have a cup of coffee when we saw the sign for Domont restaurant. We drove out of the few kilometers, just to turn on the door when we don't want to eat meal, we don't come in even though the restaurant is completely empty. Arrogance in the first degree.

Nous avons choisi de prendre une charbonade de boeuf à gogo. Très bien servi super qualité de viande de super patatos croquantes et moelleux à l'intérieur le top. Service très efficace rapide et souriant. Tout cela dans un cadre superbe.

Le château du Domont et son parc est un parfait but de promenade et de repas. La carte se concentre sur des valeurs sûr en terme de viandes et de poissons. Les entrées et les desserts sont très variées et les divers fondues chinoises et bourguignonnes à volonté sont très appréciées. Les tenanciers et le personnel sont sympathiques et professionnel. Sans parler des prix plus que correctes.
