Przekaż informację zwrotnąI've been a regular at Buns for a long time, and I used to love the food and service. However, since the change in ownership, it has gone downhill. The food was overcooked and seemed like it had been sitting out for too long, and the service was quite poor. The server was very sweet and kind, but we ended up waiting an hour for our meal, and all we received was stir fry. Such a disappointment!
We walked into a mostly empty restaurant on a Saturday and were surprised by how long it took to be seated, especially since we noticed four waitresses milling about. Once seated, we waited 25 minutes for menus, which were sticky and dirty, covered in a film just like the tables. That should have been our first warning sign. After that, we didn’t see anyone for an hour. The waitstaff kept walking past our table without attending to us. While taking my toddler to the restroom, I caught a glimpse of the kitchen and was horrified by how filthy it was. The bathrooms were equally disgusting. When I returned to the table, I announced that we were leaving; our food was likely never going to arrive, and even if it did, I wouldn’t eat anything prepared in such a filthy kitchen! My family has owned and operated restaurants for 42 years, and I’ve never seen a kitchen in that condition!
A fantastic spot away from the main road, perfect for lunch and exploring the charming downtown shops. The staff at Bun's are outstanding.
Absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever been to. We were seated outside not sure if the bartender was on something or drunk. She took our order without writing it down. We had to repeat it. Then she comes back a few minutes later and has to retake it. She wrote it down this time and we still had to repeat it. They were not busy nor was the patio. After about 30 minutes she comes out and says there was some confusion and it'll be a little longer. 15 minutes later it comes out and everyone's order was wrong. It looked like a nice place but the experience was not.Only gave it 1 star cause it won't let you post if you don't.
Hello everyone in Delaware, as the new kitchen and front of house manager of Buns restaurant I understand that there has been a lot of bad experience in the past. I am here to change that for everyone and get buns back to the place we all know and love, we are going through a whole new training process trying our absolute best to get the staff updated and efficient. I hope you all can be just a little patient with me while I work everything out with our staff and get back to the buns that was the number one spot for party’s and dinner every night of the week and I won’t stop until we get there. Here soon we will have a new menu with all the buns classic and a new twist to excite everyone’s taste buds.
