Delavan Family

I love this place absolutely. We went to any other breakfast place in town and this is my way now. We have become regular I guess you could especially say as they really do good chilaquiles. I've never had a bad meal or a bad experience here and we've come here almost a year. Mom! O and the entire staff including the chefs are great people. Thank you.

The waitress was friendly and she provided quick service. The food did not take long to be served after our order. My grandchild, 23 months old, had the children pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage. He enjoyed the food and didn't get much on the ground. My son had a Cheeseburger and Pommes. He said it was good and very full. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger and pommes. He said the burger was not as juicy as he would have liked, but the taste was good, and the patty filled the bungalow. My niece had the children of Cheeseburger and Pommes. Her cheeseburger was so big, not much smaller than my husband and son. I ordered the pigs with red chili sauce. The pigeons came with fried beans and rice. Chips and salsa were served in front of the deceptions. The chips had only a touch of salt. The salsa was not clobular and was bland. The Tamales were not wound with a corn pack as they are usually. They were served upstairs with cheese. I also ordered acid cream on the side. I was pleased that the Tamales had a good taste and added the cheese to the taste. The beans and rice had very little taste and were not seasoned. Overall, this restaurant offers a good service and the food is affordable.

I've tried quite a few cafes in the Delavan area, and this one takes the icing on the cake so far! I have country fried steak (highly recommend and 2 eggs, and it was delicious! The waitress, Linda, was very friendly and conversational, and very fast! I will definitely be coming again! If you do come, make sure you go before 3, they close at 3 just like Sun Mist Cafe (this cafe is WAY better though!

Being raised in Delavan, I escaped when I could. My mom still lives there though, so I visit when I can. I was in the area and took my mother out for breakfast here on Mother's Day. I was only in town for a little bit, so I knew this would be a good option. I forgot how good local restaurants can be. I got a skillet with extra hashbrowns and she got pancakes with eggs and bacon. The price was right, the food was good, and it came out quickly and without any issues. A good meal right before a 6 hour car ride home!

Love this local family restaurant. My husband and I often go for breakfast on the weekends, the food is delicious and the prices are amazing!
