Bou-z Brewing Company - DeLand

Hiccup offers great beer and a fantastic atmosphere, especially if you enjoy a garage-style vibe. I do wish they served chilled glasses, as I prefer my drinks that way. While I didn't try any food here, there are plenty of food options available on the street and nearby. It wasn't too loud either—about a 4 out of 10 on a Thursday night.

I recently visited Persimmon Hollow Brewing Company in downtown Orlando near Lake Eola, and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is super cool and unique, and the staff is incredibly friendly. During my visit, they were hosting a Hollow-Octoberfest festival, featuring Oktoberfest beer and the Tommel-Braun Ale—both of which are some of my favorites. I definitely plan to come back next time I'm in the area. The vibes are always great, and the beer is delicious at both locations I've been to. If you're nearby, make sure to stop by and enjoy a cold drink. You definitely won't regret it!

I had a pumpkin beer and a hard seltzer, and I must say, the atmosphere was amusing and eclectic, even for a Monday night. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and the music was a mix of different genres. There's a pool table available, along with a selection of board games. Their catchy tagline is "Drink sensitive, but weird pick!" They even sell merchandise. I can definitely see this being a great spot to hang out with a group of friends.

Very nice atmosphere on the afternoon, especially when the weather is beautiful. not overcrowded and relaxing. very nice bar tender good beer. no kitchen here, but they can simply order from afterbarn or bake and bring them in. music can be hit or miss because touchtunes.

Persimmon is our local brewery and I couldn’t ask for a better place to stop by after a long shift or a weekend trip through Deland. The beers are excellent, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is super relaxed, with board games and plenty of homely seating. My favorite beer is the Beach Hippy or the Barley Wine.
