Bru's Room Sports Grill

I had a friend in from out of town on June 24th and took him here. I was very disappointed because I haven't been there in a year or so. The place looked dirty and rundown, service was slow. They need to do some big-time renovations. It's really unfortunate because this is a great location for a restaurant. I will say this though, I don't blame them for not investing in it because the whole area there isn't looking very good. I don't know what our Mayor and Commissioner for that area are doing, but they need to do something, they're always saying what a beautiful beach we have, well I didn't see beauty, I saw sadness.

Went here to watch game 2 of the NBA Finals and it did not disappoint. The crowd was into it and the service was great. Ordered from the late happy hour menu and got boneless wings in lemon pepper which were very salty so I ended up ordering chess totes.

We sat at the bar with my girlfriend and dani the bartender was amazing, very attentive and prompt with service we ordered the vegan wings and they were so good I doubted myself for a minute. Easy casual place for Fter work happy hour drinks and close to the beach and easy parking.

Patti was our bartender and she was awesome! So friendly and good at her job! The ambience was very chill and beachy.

Saturday night, bar was very empty and the indoor area had maybe 2 people inside. Waiter took our drink order, brought the wrong drink, took 30 mins to bring the drinks. Said the bartender was in the weeds so that is why it took so long. Round 2 of drinks, again took forever and again we were told they were slammed busy (again, maybe 10 people at the bar one other small party inside) Food came out burnt, spinach dip was a block of cream cheese with spinach blobbed in it.. horrible. Watched a take out order get dropped on the floor by the bar, the employee picked the food up that hit the floor, put it back into the container and send it out. Disgusting They had plenty of staff hanging out in the kitchen area laughing, playing around and ignoring customers. Would never come back here again. Service sucked, food sucked, drinks were wrong and the waiter was just making excuses for a clearly sinking ship. Need new staff who actually come to work, to work. Now I know why they weren 't busy. They are horrible
