I am extremely particular about Chinese food, and I only eat it if it is truly exceptional. Peking Garden surpasses all others on Long Island with their amazing dishes such as the best egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls, and pork fried rice. The portions are generous and the flavors are the best I have ever had.

I live in Hicksville, and across the street, there are many good Chinese takeout places. I consider myself lucky to have found Peking Gardens. When I tried their Chinese food, I was very happy with my choice. I ordered the General Tso's chicken for my wife, who prefers dishes that are not too sweet. She really enjoyed it. As they say, a happy wife means a happy life. Additionally, my stepchildren loved the wonton soup. We have tried many dishes, from steamed dumplings to combination plates, and all of them were delicious. I always hesitate before ordering, but it's a nice feeling to enjoy Peking Gardens late at night while watching a movie. It's so peaceful when everyone is asleep. I know there may be places that are just as good or even better, but this is the one my family and I truly enjoy. The owner may suggest trying out another restaurant, but when you find a place you love, you tend to stick with it.
