Csakhal Bisztró (belváros) - Debrecen

Understood. Maybe you wouldn't expect something to be hidden so well in a sheltered building at a not particularly impressive location. The staff here (probably the owners? are very nice and they help you with enthousiasm. The food is honest, not tasty, but really delicious and good if you don't expect Michelin Stars dishes. Long story short: It is a beautiful and simple place with good food. I'd definitely eat again here.

A very well maintained and quiet place only for fish lovers. This place exceeded my expectations. They accept cards and they are very affordable. The location is also very strategic and accessible by public transport, and it is also close to a large 24 hour shopping center. I have to say it was very clean.

We discovered this bistro during the trip from Romania to Poland. That was an excellent choice. There are 4-5 small tables inside and very many customers ready to taste delicious fish based meals. We were lucky to get the place. We tried fish soup, and children fried fish. Everything was very delicious. The staff does not speak English, but is very nice and helpful.

Must see space when in Debrecen. Incredibly good fish food and everything associated with it (the have different types of fresh fish from which you can choose). The staff is very friendly and helpful (even though they do not master the English language) feel welcome. The decor is something that feels like eating in the grandmother's kitchen, something cooked by the grandmother himself.

Really nice place if you like good and fresh fish. One of the best fish I ever had, worth to visit!
