Pepe's Cantina Winter Park - DeBary

So it is the official grand opening today and let me tell you.. I am loving it! They have a full alcohol bar and a nice selection on the menu they also have a vegetarian and vegan selection. I got black bean enchiladas and my husband got mushroom chicken which looked delicious. my food tasted fresh and light, not greasy they brought us water and chips a couple minutes after we sat down. for it being the opening day I am honestly surprised at how smoothly everythingwent

Debary finally has a good Mexican restaurant. Pepe?s is located close to the dollar stores along 1792 in what used to be Wong?s 8th Wonder Chinese Restaurant actually it?s been a lot more than that throughout the years). We showed up on opening day, not sure what to expect. This place is busier than we?ve ever seen this building. Wow! And we didn?t have to wait to get a table at 5:30 pm. The Good: The salsa is FRESH. Yes?FRESH. If you want flavored ketchup, go toHabanero?s, Amigo?s, or most any other Mexican restaurant in central Florida. The margaritas are amazing. We had both frozen and regular margaritas over ice and neither disappointed. I had the steak quesadillas and my wife had thechimichanga. Ok, so she ordered chicken and got pork. It?s opening day. But the pork was really flavorful and is something to be desired. The bad: I?m hesitant to mention this because it?s not really bad but rather just okay?the refriedbeans. They were pretty soupy today, almost as if they needed to cook down a little more. But the flavor on them was still great. The place is a little pricey $18 for steak quesadillas is a lot). But we left with fully bellies and smileson our faces. Thank you for coming to Debary. We will be back?and soon.

We have been to this location multiple times and have had a great experience every time! The food, service, and drinks are always on point! Their Sunday brunch is amazing as well! Do yourself a favor and check it out!

My second time here. Went with friends for my birthday. Wait staff very good. Food excellent. A little pricey but who isn't these days.

We have been going to Pepe?s at the Winter Park location for a couple of years now and were very pleased to see the Debary location open up down the road from us. The food is always delicious. The staff is amazing. Raul is such a beautiful soul and our server today, Carolina, was the perfect amount of attentiveness and personality. We will be back soon!
