The bakery is located on Schafer, just a few blocks south of Warren, and has been around since 1956. I loved the Falafel, Spinach and Meat Pies, and the fantastic Pizza Rolls. The bakery has a storied history, starting in 1956 as Roma Italian Bakery. For the past 13 years, the owner has offered Arabic and Italian goods, along with a unique bonus of African food available only on weekends. What a variety of choices! I found them on Facebook with 5 different pages. I was happy to discover them on Schafer, a couple blocks south of Warren in Dearborn, and they have a nice seating area and parking in front. I am excited to try the African food, as it will be a new experience for me.
The food at this restaurant is amazing. It was my first time trying them out, and I only did so because I had a coupon. Their meat pies are the best I've ever had! Plus, their prices are so reasonable that the coupon wasn't even necessary.
We were so impressed with this restaurant in Dearborn that we went back twice during our short stay. The Margherita pizza was delicious, with a flavorful sauce (could have used a bit more), stringy cheese, and a thin, crunchy crust that was the standout. It was so good that we easily devoured multiple slices. The pizza was consistently fresh both times we visited, and we were pleased to find halal options available as well.
They have the best Pizza in town you have to go try it.
Great food and customer service. The sauce to cheese to crust ratio is perfect, and the breaded chicken wings are delicious, very crispy and tender! Best breaded wings I’ve had, better than any other local pizza shops by far. A must try.
