Al Shallal - Dearborn Heights

I've been eating here since the first opening of the doors, and I honestly don't know why I waited so long to check it. All I had here, including the filled Lamb I pictured, is excellent. I deliberately chose this court because not all restaurants in the Middle East have lamb. As a Armenian, I'm looking for it in my travels and this court is a hand down winner. Only the correct amount of spices and onions are added through rice and salad, and I can drink this garlic sauce through the gallon. The interior of the main restaurant is by no means fantastic, but it doesn’t matter, it’s clean, the owners/stock are welcoming, and the food never disappointed. I'd give Al Shallal more than five stars if I could.

We had my daughter's wedding shower here, it wasn't through design, as all the other well-known halls were booked. But WOW! The food was excellent and the staff was wonderful. My guests were more than satisfied with the food like the bride. Thank you to the owners!! We'll be back. Not the most beautiful place, but the food for him 100

Very fast service and friendly staff. I eat is delicious with large portion sizes. I'm sorry if I miss it) salad with chicken and feta.

Sarah was so kind and helped me order my first time there. I ended up ordering a ton of food which by the way was simply exquisite BTW and she threw in a couple of small extras. I absolutely love this place, the people and most importantly the food. Their actual prices don't reflect what's online or on the menus but still very competitive prices and value for the food is exceptional. I'm planning to return back very soon.

Great food, friendly staff. This was my first time here and I honestly can't say enough great things about this place. Our meals were outstanding, best I've had in a very long time. Oh and the baklava all I can say is WOW!!! DEFINITELY will be going here again and bringing friends with me.
