Silverado Franklin Historic Gaming Complex, Legends Steakhouse Silverado Grand Buffet

We did a lot of research before visiting Deadwood. We loved that the Franklin was historic. We read reviews about the rooms in need of renovations. We were not concerned about that. The lobby was absolutely beautiful. We were supposed to stay a week but checked out after two days. We were shocked at how rude several of the staff were. We were on vacation and were so happy to be there only to be around people who obviously did not want to be at work. We will be back to Deadwood but not stay there ever again.

This hotel deserves more stars than they get! Excellent staff, perfect location, great lrices, free off site secure parking and is absolutely gorgeous! Step back to the beaitiful roaring twenties with elegant crystal chandeliers, historical details, beautiful windows...loved it!!! Rooms: some need a little updatimg but since it was built in 1903 I think what do u expect? Rooms were clean and non fuss. The bigger suites are beautiful! Walkability: On Main in Deadwood...what more can u ask??? Food drinks: One free drink each day, great, friendly bartenders!
